This is what happens when Gary Vaynerchuck reinspires me to get back to using twitter. I swear the plan was to build relationships. But my inner smart ass takes over right away.
What do you think?
Gary never fails to inspire me. He’s what I hope to be when I grow up. :-)
Why his approach to business and marketing really connects with me is because it just feels good, ethical, and right. It feels like you will be rewarded for treating people like individuals. It’s nice to think that being friendly and kind might help us be successful as we move forward as a culture.
And if it helps Ducky and me sell a few books, sweet. :-)
(Who knows most of you won’t watch a 60 minute video while scrolling through tumblr. So bookmark it for later!)
So a buddy (wellthatsjustgreat) suggested I start posting regular pictures of myself, as well as the modeling pictures. you know, makes me more human. And I don’t take many “normal” pictures but I will start throwing a few up as they come ;)
I took this pic in the middle of writing the last blog post. My hair and makeup are done and i didn’t end up going anywhere. sigh
A model is taking Ag’s advice on how to become more popular on the internet.
…yeah. I know.
So far she has taken my advice to heart. She has done the two most important things:
Yeah, who need’s “Crush It,” huh?
I actually gave a few other thoughts which she seems to be considering including making her tumblr more a reflection of her than just a web presence. In some weird way she reminds me of me when I started on tumblr: finding her voice and starting with what she knows her strength is. In her case modeling pictures. In my case, well…
So she’s definitely worth a follow for some of you. She’s a genuinely nice person, her tumblr is developing into something interesting, and if my tumblr dashboard is any indication, plenty of you like beautiful modeling pics, of which she posts several (but not at pic spam level).
Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to post humiliating pictures of myself during my awkward phases and then think about how old and alone I am.
Egotistical Admission: Nothing makes me feel better about myself than being at a presentation being given by a very smart person and hearing him or her say something that I have said.
- Ag-I had several moments like this at Gary Vaynerchuk’s presentation yesterday
