Visited Bok Tower Gardens today.

It was possibly the most serene, beautiful place I’ve ever been to.

I understand it was especially beautiful yesterday because of a certain beautiful someone walking around there taking pictures. :-)

That’s right. I was taking pictures there yesterday too!

On an unrelated note, I’m kinda’ a jerk.

The Singing Tower. It houses a carillon that tolls at the top and bottom of every hour. And twice a day there is a concert that is best enjoyed a good distance away from the two kids yelling “RED LIGHT! GREEN LIGHT!”

Upon reflection, I realize that those kids might not be there every day.

I visited the Bok Tower Gardens in Lake Wales, Florida today. It’s a beautiful peaceful spot where you can really be alone with your thoughts.

You know what’s not great for me? Time alone with my thoughts.

Thankfully the resultant emotional breakdown didn’t come till later at home. So that’s nice.

Anyhoo, I highly recommend you visit. But if you do you will want to take nolagrrlnyc with you. The place was meant for her photography skills. If you don’t take her you will end up with snapshots like the ones I’m about to subject you too!
